An Old-Fashioned Melodrama And Olio Presented At MCHS

The Mustang Players of McDonald County High School will present an old-fashioned melodrama and olio at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28; 5 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29; and 5 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6. Tickets are $6 for show only, and the deluxe ticket is $8 and includes the show, drink, popcorn and fake tomatoes to throw at the dastardly villain. The play is directed by Wyatt Hester.

The olio will feature short comedy scenes and the melodrama, The Fallen Saved, a comedy reminiscen­t of the handlebar mustache villain who is set on getting the poor widow’s property but all is saved in the nick of time by the dutiful hero.

The Sept. 28-29 Melodrama cast includes: J.J. Richards, Mikala Mustain, Taylor Tyson, Tyson Vallance, Rylie Hackett, Cecil (Lane) Pointer, Jessikah Lilly, Caitlyn Hall, Huechi Xiong, Summer McCool, Maiker Vang, Gabrielle Nalley, Jennifer Estrada-Ayala, Juliana Angeles, Madeleine Bell, Deannah Britton, Aidan Chamberlai­n, Jennifer Estrada-Ayala, Mason Holliday, Summer McCool, Gabrielle Nalley, Kaitlyn Sammons, Maiker Vang and Frankie Willagran.

The Oct. 6 melodrama cast includes: William Hawkins, Tobin Bowman, Caitlin Lee, Payton Hatfield, Jeff Brewer, Jacob Ortega, Kiara Manion, Cheyenne McCormick, Justin Womack, Sebastian Gill, Jonathan Howerton, Jamie Malone, Raign Meyer, Jacob Pagel, Neo Patrick and Kathryn Scott.

Olio performers include on Sept. 28 (7 p.m.): Jarred Maggard, Corbin Jones, Clyde Buchanan, Jake Foote, Gissele Reyes, Joaleen Sohl, Lilly Caswell, Garrett Anderson, James Jackson, Libby Cisneros, Chazz Jacks, Ayla Benedict, Jasmine Duncan, Kiesha Teague, Shaylin Willis, Zoe Sebastian, Ericka Medina, Madeline McCall and Hunter McAffrey.

Sept. 29 (5 p.m.): Tammy Cox, Becca Trammell, Anthony Dowd, Anjelle Sampson, Matthew Mora, Eli Jackson, Devin Swanson, Dylan Akins, Levi Helm, Ja-Kobe Montes, Madison Grider, Matthew Brauer, Jadzia Thrasher, Kevin Dukes, Amy Montoya and Giselle De La Torre.
