Alice Norene Wilson
March 31, 1927 Sept. 21, 2018 Alice Norene Wilson, 91, of Goodman, Mo., died Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, in her home, after months of declining health.
She was born March 31, 1927, in Beaty, Ark., to Virgil and Lula Belle (Locke) Benefiel. She moved with her family to Gravette, Ark., and later to Southwest City, Mo. On Dec. 27, 1943, she married Loyd Wilson and they moved to Goodman. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking and singing at church. She was a member of Trinity Worship Center in Goodman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 66 years, Loyd Wilson; a son, Ralph Wilson; and two brothers, Thomas and Eugene Benefiel.
Survivors include three children, Alice Marie Kezar, Calvin Wilson (Debbie) and Randy Wilson all of Goodman; several grandchildren; a sister, Patsy Treloar (Wayne) of Mesa, Ariz.; and a brother, R.L. Benefiel (Lynda) of Mesa.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastors Bryan Hartgrave and Gary Murphy officiating. Burial followed in the Mayfield Cemetery near Goodman.
