Jimmie Eugene Grife

July 14, 1944 Nov. 1, 2018 Jimmie Eugene “Jim” Grife, 73, of Goodman, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at his residence.

He was born July 14, 1944, in Goodman to Alvie and Allie (Brotherton) Grife. He worked as a forklift operator for Honey Bear/ Tysons in Neosho for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and loved old cars. He was a lifetime member of the Splitlog Baptist Church in Goodman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Johnny Grife and Vernie Grife.

Survivors include his sisters, Lena Faye Tuomala of Splitlog, Mo., Melva DeLaMatter of Gentry, Ark., Jeanie Nolan of Derby, Kan.; and a brother, Floyd Grife of Carthage, Mo.

A memorial service was held Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, at Splitlog Baptist Church in Goodman with Pastor Shan Cobb officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the Banner Cemetery in Goodman.
