Pad, Over the Edge, Nuts and Bolts, and Lunar Impact, with the winners moving on to face reigning Titans on Mt. Olympus. Cari Champion and Alex Mendez provide commentary.

8 PM ( TRAV) Buried Worlds With

Don Wildman Season 1 of this entertainingly creepy series concludes with the finale “Curse of the White

City,” which takes host Don Wildman on what he asserts is the biggest challenge of his career: traveling deep into the jungles of Honduras, where he must confront lethal dangers and deadly curses in his quest to find the fabled Lost White City (“La Ciudad Blanca”).

9 PM ( HBO) I May Destroy You

Feeling depressed after she discovers an unhappy development in the investigation, Arabella (Michaela

Coel) comes up with a risky scheme and convinces a very reluctant Terry (Weruche Opia) to bankroll it in the new episode “Line Spectrum Border.” Meanwhile, still struggling to process his own assault, Kwame (Paapa

Essiedu) challenges himself to explore the full spectrum of his sexuality.

9:30 PM ( ID) Hometown Homicide: Local Mysteries A new episode called “Fatal Family and The Southern Stalker” opens with the story of a family of five in Cushing, Wis., who mysteriously vanishes without a trace, leaving behind a 15-year-old boy who is concealing a very dark secret. Then, a string of gruesome murders in Augusta, Ga., terrifies everyone in the community, especially after investigators start suspecting a serial killer is on the loose among the locals. 10:03 PM ( NGEO) Sharks of the Bermuda Triangle The 500,000 square miles that make up the Bermuda Triangle probably are most famous for their reputation as ground zero for uncanny phenomena like disappearing aircraft and ships, malfunctioning compasses and even legends that the lost continent of Atlantis may sleep somewhere beneath these waters. For marine biologist Dr. Austin Gallagher, however, the most fascinating revelations may rest among this region’s sharks. Gallagher has spent much of his life pursuing the holy grail of shark research: finding the topsecret breeding ground of tiger sharks. 11 PM ^ POV “Advocate,” a new documentary from filmmakers Rachel Leah Jones and Philippe Bellaiche, profiles Israeli lawyer Lea Tsemel, whose decades-long defense of Palestinians accused of resisting the occupation via both violent and nonviolent means has earned her the moniker “the devil’s advocate.” Tsemel, who really pushes the envelope when it comes to the customary practices of a human rights defender, is shown as she undertakes two highly contentious court cases in her tireless quest for justice.

11 PM ( TRAV) Into the Unknown Adventurer, survivalist and military veteran Cliff Simon has been fascinated by the supernatural all his life, which makes him the perfect host for this new series, which takes him on quests into the paranormal. The series premiere, “The Rougarou,” takes Simon deep into the Louisiana bayou, reputedly the home of the titular swamp monster that, according to legend, is a fearsome werewolf-like beast that feasts on human flesh. His journey leads him across the sprawling Atchafalaya Basin to a First Nations chief with a chilling story to share.
