4 PM ( ESPN) MLB Baseball The top two teams in the National League West get at it tonight at Petco Park, where Fernando Tatis Jr. and the San Diego Padres host Mookie Betts and the Los Angeles Dodgers in the rubber game of a three-game set. The Dodgers, owners of baseball’s best record, are built to win today, while the Padres are the team of tomorrow, boasting a roster full of young talent led by Tatis, who has blossomed into a bonafide star in this abbreviate­d season.

8 PM ^ Islands of Wonder This miniseries exploring three of the most exotic and mysterious islands on Earth continues with “Madagascar.” Regarded by many scientists to be the oldest island on Earth, Madagascar has been isolated longer than any other place in the world. As a result, life here has had time to evolve in unusual ways, resulting in more unique wildlife than possibly any other island on the planet.

8 PM $ 55th Academy of Country Music Awards Fifteen-time ACM Award winner Keith Urban hosts these ceremonies honoring the biggest names and emerging talent in the country music industry, broadcast live from three iconic locations in Nashville, Tenn.: the Grand Ole Opry House, historic Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird Cafe. Scheduled performers include Kelsea Ballerini, Old Dominion, Maren Morris, Thomas Rhett, Miranda Lambert and Tim McGraw. Among this year’s nominees, Morris earned five nods in four categories, including her fourth Female Artist of the Year nomination. First-time ACM nominee Justin Bieber has four nods for his “10,000 Hours.” 9 PM G Coroner In “The Suburbs,” the first of another new two-part episode, a victim causes a building lockdown, forcing Jenny (Serinda Swan) to team up with a former colleague. Elsewhere, Detective McAvoy (Roger Cross) pursues a recently released prison inmate, determined that his freedom will be shortlived. Meanwhile, Liam (Éric Bruneau) gives Ross (Ehren Kassam) a hand with his grandfathe­r. Tamara Podemski and Nicholas Campbell also star.

9 PM ( SHO) MOVIE The Jesus Rolls Super-fans of the Coen Brothers’ cult comedy “The Big Lebowski” may enjoy this 2019 quasi-follow-up, which finds John Turturro — who also wrote and directed the film — reprising his “Lebowski” character of Jesus Quintana. Actually, though, the film mainly is a remake of Bertrand Blier’s controvers­ial 1974 French film “Going Places,” chroniclin­g the exploits of three sexually depraved misfits (Turturro, Bobby Cannavale and Audrey Tautou). Pete Davidson, Jon Hamm, Susan Sarandon, Sonia Braga and Christophe­r Walken also are featured.

10 PM ( FXX) Archer The Emmy-winning adult animated sitcom opens Season 11 with a heck of a reboot, as the premiere, “The Orpheus Gambit,” reveals that Sterling Archer (voice of H. Jon Benjamin) has spent the past three seasons in a coma. Now awake and back in the world of spying, Archer discovers many things have changed during his long “nap,” and some of his colleagues aren’t especially keen to pick up where they left off with him. Aisha Tyler, Jessica Walter, Judy Greer and Chris Parnell also are heard. Another new episode follows.

ie comes to a major decision about the future of her relationsh­ip with Reese after enduring a rocky dinner with his family in the new episode “An Indecent Proposal.” Katie sets up a double date with Kevin and her best friend Natalie, but things don’t go according to plan.
