7:30 PM & College Football A clash of ACC rivals is on tap tonight in South Bend, Ind., where Ian Book and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will defend home turf from James Blackman and the Florida State Seminoles. With a conference to finally call home and stars on offense and defense, the Irish are primed for another 10-win season and a shot at the ACC title game. The Seminoles, meanwhile, are coming off three-straight mediocre years and hope the redshirt junior Blackman and a few key transfers can begin a resurgence.

8 PM ( LIFE) MOVIE Cheer Camp Killer Sophia (Mariah Robinson) is thrilled to have a chance to show off her special skills after she and her BFF Charlotte (Jacqueline Scislowski) win admission into a highly exclusive cheer camp in this 2020 thriller. Unfortunat­ely, neither Victoria (Sydney Malakeh), the camp’s queen bee, nor her iron-willed mother, Beth (Andrea Bogart), are amused at this new interloper crashing their kingdom. 10 PM ( AMC) Eli Roth’s History of Horror Host Eli Roth returns for Season 2 of this addictive series for horror movie fans, which explores the dark power and wicked fun of scary movies, as well as the craft that went into landmark films of the genre and the ways horror films reflect the anxieties of their time. Among this season’s writers, directors, actors and technical experts scheduled to be interviewe­d by Roth are Stephen King, Quentin Tarantino, Jordan Peele, Piper Laurie, Roger Corman, Bill Hader, James Brolin, John Landis and Joe Dante.

11 PM ( AMC) Cursed Films This fascinatin­g new documentar­y series examines a number of iconic horror films and explores facts, myths and lingering mysteries surroundin­g their production, through interviews with directors, cast members and producers who lived through the real-life events at the time. The series opens with “The Exorcist,” director William Friedkin’s 1973 adaptation of William Peter Blatty’s terrifying bestseller. The film’s early screenings are surrounded by controvers­y, as reports of fainting theater-goers and mysterious on-set accidents spark debate as to whether or not the film itself is somehow evil.
