na - Eleanor Wallace Hayes passed away peacefully at home in Concord, NC on November 9, 2020, with her family by her side. She lived her entire life in South Florida (Miami and Coral Gables) until 8 years ago when she moved to Concord, NC. with her husband, Marlon (Lonnie) Hayes who passed away 14 months earlier. Her greatest love was her family and friends, who she reminded through her words and actions to LIVE, LOVE and LAUGH each and every day. She brightened our days and showed us all how important relationships and staying in touch were, especially by her phone calls and mail deliveries to numerous family and friends over the years. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her two siblings, Ruddy and Betty Jane, her precious son Robert (Bob) Hayes and her infant Great Grandson, Thaddeus Marlon Carney.

She is survived by her children, Beverly Carney (Paul), Bruce Hayes (Sharon), Barbra Harley (Tom), Tracy Hayes and a sister in law, Marlene Theile. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Tripp (Rachael), Kendyl (Brendan), Dylan (Allison), Alex, Elizabeth (Parker), Brady, Eleanor, Sam, Anthony, and Thomas, and great-grandchildren: Townsend, Sullivan, Ella-Hayes, Louise, Matilda and Park.
