8 PM _ The Masked Dancer This companion series to “The Masked Singer” started out on Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talk show as a recurring spoof of “Masked Singer.” Evidently the programming executives at Fox didn’t get the joke, though, because the concept — in which mystery celebrities wearing head-to-toe dance costumes and facial masks perform dances with a partner — is now a full-blown new one-hour program in its own right. Craig Robinson is host; Ken Jeong, Paula Abdul, Brian Austin Green and Ashley Tisdale are the panelists. The show moves to Wednesdays on Jan. 6.
8:20 PM & NFL Football A clash of division leaders is in the offing tonight at Lambeau Field, where Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers hope to lock up the NFC North with a victory over Ryan Tannehill and the AFC Southleading Tennessee Titans. The 37-year-old Rodgers has found the fountain of youth this season and he recently added another laurel in his storied career, throwing his 400th touchdown pass, thus becoming the fastest quarterback in NFL history to do so. 9 PM _ 2021 Fox Winter Preview Mayim Bialik, who stars in the new Fox sitcom “Call Me Kat,” joins “The Masked Dancer” host Craig Robinson and Curt Menefee from the Fox Sports team to anchor this half-hour preview special, which provides a sneak peak at the new and returning shows to the network’s lineup. Fan favorites ready to start a new season include “The Resident”; “911” and its spinoff, “911: Lone Star”; “Prodigal Son”; “Hell’s Kitchen”; and the Sunday night animated lineup including “The Simpsons,” “Bob’s Burgers” and “Family Guy.”
9 PM ( FOOD) Restaurant Hustle 2020: All on the Line Food Network personality Guy Fieri is executive producer of this fascinating new two-hour special, in which superstar chefs and restaurateurs Maneet Chauhan, Antonia Lofaso, Christian Petroni and Marcus Samuelsson take up cameras and, abetted by friends, family and colleagues, give viewers a candid first-hand look at the challenges their restaurants have faced during the coronavirus pandemic. The restaurant industry has suffered staggering losses due to restrictions against crowds in close spaces.
