8 PM 2 Antiques Roadshow This hit series opens its milestone 25th anniversary season with a special premiere called “American Stories,” which features guests talking about how they came by some of their greatest treasures as well as surprising appraiser insights. Episode highlights include a poignant history lesson linked to a 1918 peach-can label that has a letter penned by a World
War I soldier written on the back, and a great-grandson’s crusade to promote the achievements of a little-known personal ancestor who was the first female aviator in the United States.
8 PM 10 The Bachelor North Carolinaborn real estate broker, entrepreneur and community organization founder Matt James goes looking for love in the title role of this hit relationship series as it opens Season 25. This edition’s Bachelor now lives in New York, where he founded an organization designed to find creative ways to engage young people from under-served communities in the area, encouraging both physical and mental wellness. Chris Harrison returns to his familiar role as host.
8 PM ( HGTV) 100 Day Dream Home Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt return with new episodes of their hit home improvement series, in which they take clients on “inspiration tours” of various properties to select preferred exteriors, interiors and finishes, then design a completely personalized, move-in-ready home before the new homeowners can count to 100. This new season finds the couple racing against Mother Nature’s clock to build various styles of homes during Florida’s hurricane season. The Kleinschmidts also share the realization of their very own dream home. 9 PM ( HGTV) Celebrity IOU Actor Rainn Wilson (“The Office”) delivers a major surprise to his son’s nanny, Leslie, in the form of a home makeover. After dramatically wielding Viking weapons and working out personal tensions during the demolition stage of the process, Rainn works with Drew and Jonathan Scott to completely update Leslie’s home, including adding a new kitchen, deck and more.
9 PM ( ID) Atlanta Justice The new episode “Ring of Truth” chronicles a case involving Demetra Smith, who marries her “Mr. Right” — a man named Orlando — in Las Vegas after a whirlwind courtship. Their life together in Atlanta is cut short, however, when Orlando’s daughter finds Demetra murdered in their home, her bloody wedding ring pried off her finger and tossed into the sink. Detective Nicole Redlinger and her team embark on an investigation to discover who evidently was violently displeased with Demetra’s new marriage.
9 PM ( HBO) 30 Coins This new eightepisode Spanish-language horror series, which premieres tonight with two backto-back installments, follows Father Vergara (Eduard Fernández), an exorcist sent away by the Church to become a local priest in Pedraza, a remote town in Spain. It’s a seemingly sleepy, even idyllic community, but when an inexplicable terror begins to grab hold of the town, local veterinarian Elena (Megan Montaner) and Paco (Miguel Silvestre), the mayor, look into Vergara’s troubled past. Macarena Gómez also stars.
10 PM 6 The Wall Chris Hardwick returns as host as one of the simplest yet most suspenseful game shows on television opens Season 4. Teammates can receive some truly life-changing cash prizes simply by answering a question correctly. Tonight’s contestants are Lisa and Dan, a married couple from Wanatah, Ind. Lisa is a mental health counselor who started a non-profit confidence camp for young women called “Own It”; Dan is a construction analyst and woodworker who likes to donate his crafts to his community.
10 PM 10 The Hustler Comic and actor Craig Ferguson hosts this diabolical new game show in which five contestants collaborate to answer questions worth $10,000 each. One of them — the Hustler — knows the answers in advance, however. As the game unfolds, the Hustler anonymously eliminates two of the players, leaving three contestants, one of them the Hustler. That last trio must collectively decide which of them is the Hustler. If the Hustler evades detection, he snags the team’s communal earnings. If he is unmasked, though, the other two players split the pot.
