Miami, Florida - Coralia del Carmen Dieppa Piad, “Abuela Mama” to her adoring family, was a proud mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a woman of faith. She was born in La Habana, Cuba on 7/1/1926. She was the young widow of Eduardo Enrique Dieppa Recio. Beloved daughter of Juan Jose Piad Garcia and Coralia del Pino Valdes and sister of Carlos Antonio Piad del Pino and Juan Jose Piad del Pino, all of whom predeceased her. She passed away peacefully on January 2, 2021 at 94, leaving a loving family of over 30. Coralia led a resounding, full life. She fled from Cuba to the United States with her five children, while her husband fought for his country’s freedom in the Bay of Pigs Invasion.

Coralia was at peace with her life. She faced her final days bravely, resiliently, lovingly, and always with unwavering, devout faith in God. For a woman like Coralia, who led the kind of life she did and who was connected to the divine in the most profound way, death is not harrowing, but a beautiful passage into heaven. She lived, she loved, and she raised five amazing children, who themselves have all raised a large beautiful family full of amazing people, and in her later years, she felt fulfilled and she was ready. Coralia’s memory will never fade. Her family holds on to her blessings, her wisdom, her light, her faith, and most of all, her love. She’s survived by her 5 children: Terry and Jesse Delgado, Eduardo Enrique and Elena Dieppa, Jorge and Amy Dieppa, Ana Coralia and Humberto Guida, Juan Carlos and Cecilia Dieppa, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The Burial will be at Caballero Woodlawn North, 3260 SW 8 St. on Thursday, January 14th at 1:30 P M. Due to Covid-19 protocols, her funeral Mass will be limited capacity and private. At a later and healthier moment, we will hold a larger, open Mass for all who wish to celebrate her wonderful life.
