9 PM ( ID) Atlanta Justice The homicide team is called out in the middle of a summer afternoon to the scene of a senseless murder, as a 9-year-old girl becomes the innocent victim of a drive-by shooting, during which bullets sprayed her home as she sat working on her new laptop, in the new episode “Death of Innocence.” Meanwhile, on the other side of town, constructi­on workers find a slain teenager who was fatally shot and left in plain sight of a shortcut to school.

9 PM ( TNT) Snowpierce­r Season 1 of this action thriller ended with the survivors of the revolution trying to pick up the pieces and maintain a fragile peace among the now-blended classes as they braced for an attack by Mr. Wilford (Sean Bean). Season 2 brings an entirely new power struggle to the fore, causing a rift between those loyal to Layton (Daveed Diggs) and those ready to follow Wilford, who has a new train loaded with new technology. 10 PM ( AMC) The Salisbury Poisonings This four part docudrama revisits an actual 2018 incident in the British town of Salisbury, the epicenter of one of the major political events of the still-young 21st century, as double agent and spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, were the target of an assassinat­ion attempt using a lethal nerve agent called Novichok. The substance was discovered to be so lethal that half a teaspoon could kill 20,000 people. Anne-Marie Duff, Rafe Spall, MyAnna Buring, Mark Addy, Annabel Scholey, Johnny Harris and Stella Gonet star.
