7:30 PM ( ESPN) NBA Basketball A peach of an ESPN NBA doubleheader gets going tonight in the City of Brotherly Love, where Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers vie with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in a clash of playoff contenders. Then in the nightcap, D’Angelo Russell and the Minnesota Timberwolves invade the home court of Brandon Ingram and the New Orleans Pelicans.
8 PM _ The Masked Dancer Actress and comic Whitney Cummings joins regular panelists Ken Jeong, Paula Abdul, Brian Austin Green and Ashley Tisdale as the three finalists from Group A and Group B join up in the new “Super Six” episode. Tonight’s show will see one of these finalists unmasked, with the other five moving on to the next episode. Craig Robinson is the host.
10 PM * For Life After he receives an urgent call from Bellmore concerning the escalating gravity of the COVID-19 pandemic, Aaron (Nicholas Pinnock) recruits the help of Safiya (Indira Varma) and heads back to the prison to begin his own investigation in tonight’s new episode “354.” Meanwhile, Marie (Joy Bryant) confronts a tough personal decision between exposing her family to the virus by going back and forth to work or just going all-in at the hospital. Dorian Missick also stars. 10 PM ( SYFY) Resident Alien Alan Tudyk (“Firefly”) stars in this quirky new action dramedy adapted from a Dark Horse comic of the same title. Tudyk plays an extraterrestrial named Harry who crash-lands on Earth, where he has been dispatched with a straightforward directive: Kill all humans. Forced to lie low, Harry takes on the identity of a rural Colorado doctor, in which guise he becomes drawn into the human world. In time, he begins to question his ultimate mission. Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds and Alice Wetterlund co-star; Linda Hamilton has a recurring role.
10 PM ( HBO) C.B. Strike As they continue delving into a horrifying story about a strangled child, Strike and Robin (Tom Burke, Holliday Grainger) make a startling discovery that seems to back up that grisly account. Unfortunately, circumstances force them to abandon the scene before they’re able to complete a proper professional investigation. Kerr Logan, Danny Ashok, Robert Glenister and Christina Cole also star.
10:01 PM ( A&E) Nature Gone Wild A man taps into his own inner beast to dissuade a bear from going through with an attack in the new episode
“Scare the Bear.” Other segments involve a freak dust storm that literally steals second base, and boaters forced to run for their lives when a volcano begins to erupt. Immediately following, another new episode features a run-in between a seal and an octopus. 10:03 PM ( LIFE) Marrying Millions Rodney faces the heat head on at his and Desiry’s engagement party when one of her friends confronts him about his infidelity in the new episode “Marriage Material.” Elsewhere, Bri feels pressure to prove to Bill’s visiting parents that she is worthy of being his wife, while Erica and Rick clash over where to have their wedding. Nonie tries to prove she can cope with living in Reese’s world, even if that means stepping out of her comfort zone.
