Coral Gables, Florida Emilia Cevallos Martinez, age 79, of Jama, Manabi, Ecuador, passed away after a long illness on October 18, 2021, in Coral Gables, Florida where she lived for over forty years. She was born on September 28, 1942 to Nestor Miguel Cevallos and Rosa Emilia Martinez de Cevallos. Miami, Florida - Esther Turner Clark Knuck, a longtime resident of Miami-Dade County, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at South Miami Hospital. She was 97 years old.

Esther was born on November 3, 1923 in Connecticu­t to Bruce Greaves Clark and Esther Hall Turner and was the oldest of four children. At the age of 2, Esther and her family moved to Florida. Esther graduated from Miami Senior High School where she was an athlete and a cheerleade­r.

While she was in high school she met her husband, Frank, at a “girls’ break” dance. As she told it, Frank shook her hand, thanked her for the dance, and asked her to do it again soon. Esther and Frank were married for 61 years until Frank’s death in 2004.

Esther always said that she was blessed with an amazing family, and often remarked that she and Frank had a wonderful life together. During their years together, they enjoyed spending weekends with family and friends in Stiltsvill­e, a small community of beach houses in the shallow waters of Biscayne Bay.
