7:30 PM (AMC) MOVIE Halloween H20: 20 Years Later Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her iconic role as Laurie Strode in this seventh installment in the famous horror movie franchise, although in story terms, director Steve Miner’s 1998 thriller is a direct sequel to the first two “Halloween” movies. As the action picks up two decades after Laurie’s narrow escape from psychopath Michael Myers, Laurie has moved and is now a teacher at a private school. That doesn’t stop her terrifying assailant from finding her, though. Adam Arkin and Josh Hartnett also star. Janet Leigh, Curtis’ real-life mother, also appears. 8PM (HALL) MOVIE Coyote Creek Christmas Paige Parker (Janel Parrish) volunteers to take charge of the annual holiday party at the Coyote Creek Inn, her parent’s hotel in the Rocky Mountains, confident that the gig will earn her a promotion at the upscale event-planning company where

she works. She settles on a “Christmas around the world” theme spotlighting the diverse holiday traditions of guests at the inn. Meanwhile, her parents are quietly planning to sell their hotel to Dylan Bailey (Ryan Paevey), a handsome real estate developer and single father. Cameron Bancroft also stars. 8PM (LIFE) MOVIE Torn From Her Arms Based on a harrowing true story that played out against the backdrop of the crisis at the U.S.-Mexican border, this taut 2021 docudrama stars Judy Reyes (“Scrubs”) as Thelma Garcia, a Texas immigration lawyer fighting desperately to reunite loved ones separated in the midst of politicallymotivated chaos. Fátima Molina plays Cindy Madrid, who fled violence in El Salvador with her six-year-old daughter, only to be forced apart by U.S. immigration officers. Gloria Reuben stars as the journalist who broke the story.

The huge cast also includes Jimmy Smits, Olga Merediz, Stephanie Beatriz, Daphne Rubin-Vega and Melissa Barrera. Watch for Miranda’s cameo as a street vendor.
10 PM (TRAV) The Dead Files A new episode called “The Thing” finds Amy and Steve in Oxnard, Calif., where a terrified mother is facing an onslaught of paranormal activity in the home where she grew up with her family.
