Tampa, Florida - On October 18. 2021, Gaythel Christie passed away in Tampa, Florida. She was 100 years old. Gaythel was born in Huntington, West Virginia on June 14, 1921 to parents Sam and Cuzzie Mae Queen. She graduated from Huntington High School and shortly thereafter moved to Miami, Florida were she met and married a young lawyer, Francis Christie. She was a secretary in the law firm of Hickey, Newbold, and Christie. Gaythel and Francis were active and involved in local and statewide politics in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Gaythel worked on several political campaigns, including the election and re-election campaigns of her husband. Judge Francis Christie served as a Circuit Judge for over 35 years in Miami Dade County. Gaythel was an avid sports fan of the University of Miami, Miami Dolphins, Miami Marlins, and Tampa Bay

Tampa, Florida - It is with profound sadness that the family of William “Bill” Salvatore Trimboli announces his peaceful passing surrounded by his wife and children on October 3, 2021. He is survived and dearly missed by his loving wife Helen Marie (Vallett) of 66 years, son William Steven and daughter-in-law Patricia Ann and granddaugh­ters Julianna and Helena, son Mark Thomas, and daughter Kim Marie and son-in-law Louis David de la Parte.

Bill was born on October 23, 1925 in Somerville, MA to Salvatore Trimboli and Mary LaMarca. He was the youngest of five with two older sisters, Vee and Libby, and two older brothers, Steve

Rays. Following the passing of her husband, she moved to Tampa, Florida to be near her son Timothy. She enjoyed an active lifestyle at Aston Gardens were she continued to enjoy dining out and travel. She was a thoughtful, loving and kind person. Also, very resilient, energetic, positive and optimistic. She loved country music from the 50’s and 60’s and knew how to play a guitar.

She is pre-deceased by her husband, Judge Francis Christie; daughter, Jane Willis; her brother, Sam Queen; sister, Cleo Touchstone; and sisters, Betty and Bessie Queen. She is survived by her children, Michael Christie and Timothy Christie; grand children Tami Cordova, Chris Willis, Michael Willis, Heather Beasley, Tim Willis, and Francis Christie.

She was blessed with great grandchild­ren, Taylor Brown, Sarah Gager, Caleb Beasley, Chloe Beasley, Madison Lowry, twins Cameron and Cayden Beasley, Evan Willis, Bradley Willis, twins Bryan and Lawrence Willis, and Riley Willis. Gaythel had one great great grand daughter, Joelle Brown.

The family invites you to join them as they honor Gaythel with a graveside service to take place on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11am at Flagler Memorial Park in Miami, FL.
