The season comes to a sweet conclusion in “The Finale: Good Things Come to Those Who Bake,” which finds the top three bakers confrontin­g their toughest challenge yet: creating an epic assortment of show-stopping confection­s to fill their dream Bake Shop window. At the end of the hour, one skillful (and very lucky) home baker will walk away from the competitio­n with the show’s $50,000 grand prize. Cynthia Stroud hosts.

8PM (LIFE) MOVIE Sins in the Suburbs Heather, a struggling artist, is happy enough with her low-key life in a quiet suburban neighborho­od until Tyler, a good-looking single guy, moves in next door to her. He seems charming and, based on appearance­s, quite successful. In the days that follow, though, news of a serial killer in the area sets off alarm bells for Heather. As the number of the killer’s victims rises, she begins to fear Tyler may somehow be involved. Monique Sypkens and Brandon Santana star in this 2022 thriller.

8PM (HBO) MOVIE The Many Saints of Newark Set in 1967, this 2021 prequel to the HBO series “The Sopranos” stars Michael Gandolfini as a teenage version of Tony Soprano, the character his late father, James Gandolfini, created to such acclaim. The story opens in one of the most tumultuous eras in Newark, N.J., history, as rival gangsters rise up and challenge the all-powerful DiMeo crime family. Caught up in the changing times is the uncle he idolizes, Dickie Moltisanti (Alessandro Nivola). Leslie Odom Jr., Vera Farmiga, Jon Bernthal, Corey Stoll and Ray Liotta co-star.

8PM (OWN) Love & Marriage: Huntsville This hit reality series returns as someone throws a wrench into Melody’s routine, despite the fact she finally has establishe­d some distance from ex-husband Martell, who is trying to get back on his feet financiall­y via several possible business ventures. An unexpected visitor surfaces in LaTisha’s life just as she and Marsau are busier than ever with their cigar bar lounge. Elsewhere, given the rumors sparked by Marsau’s social media post, Kimmi demands the whole truth from Maurice as they prepare to leave for their long-delayed honeymoon.

9PM G World’s Funniest Animals: National Puppy Day Special Host Elizabeth Stanton hosts this new one-hour special edition celebratin­g some of the most adorable pups on the planet with a plethora of cute canine clips featuring perplexed pooches, hyper hounds and other furry friends. Lissette Rojo from the City of Burbank Animal Shelter is a special guest, while Brian Cooper, Anna Maria Perez De Tagle, Carmen Hodgson, Noah Matthews, Mikalah Gordon, AJ Gibson, Emile Ennis Jr. and Katherine Murray provide commentary on the clips.

9PM (OWN) Marry Me Now This new relationsh­ip docuseries follows eight women from Houston who are in longterm relationsh­ips. They’re also sick of waiting for their significan­t other to pop the question. Each episode finds host and relationsh­ip coach Rebecca Lynn Pope guiding one of the women as she takes the relationsh­ip reins from her lackadaisi­cal boo, culminatin­g in a public proposal to him. The premiere focuses on Amaree “Mooch” Joyner and Ken Sanders. She’s ready to take a big step, but she wants the blessings of his family — whom she still hasn’t met. 11 PM (TCM) MOVIE On Golden Pond So much star power, so beautifull­y harnessed. Screen legends Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn won Oscars for their performanc­es as Norman and Ethel Thayer in this 1981 classic adapted from Ernest Thompson’s hit play. As the elderly Thayers return to their summer cottage, they are joined by their daughter, Chelsea (Jane Fonda), her new boyfriend (Dabney Coleman) and his son (Doug McKeon). But the serenity of the setting cannot mask the conflict between father and daughter. Turner Classic Movies airs the film as part of their “31 Days of Oscar” event.
