Classic Noa backpack is ideal for everyday use

- BY GREGG ELLMAN

Unless you need a specific pocket to hold something specific, for most of us a backpack is a backpack. But if you have particular needs to carry something you might want quick access to, the Augustnoa Classic Noa backpack is for you.

The Classic Noa backpack is ideal for everyday use, including work, play, travel or trips to the gym. It’s built with several compartments, all with YKK zippers, which are standard with self-locking puller technology, making it simple to open or close. The YKK zippers also stay in place, not opening even the slightest bit on their own.

The strap pockets make

the Augustnoa Classic Noa backpack stand out to me. You might not think they are a big deal, but after you use the backpack, you’ll see how functional they are. Simple things like keys, earbuds, work IDs and other small items can be stored in the pockets. It’s easy to put the items in, and you don’t have to take the backpack off to dig around and find them. Since the pockets are on the straps, when you have the backpack on, the pockets are right there in front of you for instant access.

The water-resistant Classic

Noa is made from recycled packaging and ecofriendly packaging from recycled post-consumer waste. A single backpack is made from 30 recycled plastic bottles. The main compartment has a padded slot for up to a 16-inch laptop, a tablet and accompanying accessories. Other compartments have room for shoes and clothes and a front attachment can hold keys securely.

There are stretchable elastic pockets on each side of the outside for water bottles. If you’re traveling with a rolling suitcase, the back has a luggage sleeve for attaching it to the suitcase handle. A matching drawstring bag is included for storing items such as shoes or dirty laundry.

There are 10 total pockets and compartments in the Augustnoa Classic Noa backpack. The shoulder straps and the back, which face your back when carrying, are padded for maximum comfort.

One review on the Augustnoa site caught my attention, calling the Classic Noa the Mary Poppins backpack. They added, “The amount of things I can fit in this thing! Stylish, easy to clean, and a classic look. Love the strap zip pockets to hold my AirPods!!”

Besides the Classic Noa backpack, Augustnoa makes many more useful portable storage solutions, including the newly released Dopp Kit ($68). It has 11 pockets total, including a front and back zip pocket with a YKK zipper.

It’s also water resistant and made with eco-friendly packaging from recycled post-consumer waste. The Dopp kit opens flat for easy access and has expandable side pockets for items such as cologne or full-sized bottles.

The Augustnoa site promotes it as a travel shaving hit, for which it is outstanding. The interior zippered expandable pockets are great for organizing and maximizing space for all the items needed on a trip for her or him. If not for a shaving kit, it’s great for everyday use with sunglasses, a wallet, smartphones, chargers and whatever.

Similarly, the Fanny Pack has the same durable quality and eco-friendly packaging. It’s perfect for anything you want to keep close and can be worn as a crossbody bag or around your waist with the adjustable belt. The strap fully extends to 41.7 inches.

It has YKK zippered pockets, inside and out, a key leash, four credit card slots, elastic slots and room for a smartphone.

The Classic Noa is $148 in olive green, cream and black. The Dopp kit is $68 and comes in navy and olive green. Fanny Pack color choices are olive green, blue, black, and cream; it goes for $58.

and fears. The recent AI Summit of the Americas at the University of Miami College of Engineering showcased excitement for the future. The prevailing sentiment among attendees was of practical optimism; it’s a sentiment we should all embrace.

AI has the power to transform how we work. While not a replacement for our own skills, it promises to automate mundane tasks and enable faster, more informed decisionmaking.

From healthcare to agriculture, businesses across various sectors are starting to implement the technology in beneficial ways.

We’re seeing AI’s ability to analyze information for early cancer screening and detection, pharmaceutical research and development.

These applications make clear that rather than viewing AI with trepidation, we should recognize its potential as a catalyst for progress.

AI is an invaluable partner which will allow us to build a better future by unleashing our potential and focusing our efforts where they are most impactful. Working with it will be key to our future success. – Gianni D’Alerta, – Miami
