Instead of reading the unending vitriol poured out in daily letters to the editor, Herald readers should read the beautifully written and so full of love obituary for Eric Pomeranz in the Jan. 12 edition.

Born with special needs, Pomeranz was not going to let his disability curb a zest for life, nor were his dear family members going to permit it.

He “played drums in a rock band in middle school.” “He was the football team’s equipment manager at Sunset High,” who wore No. 0 on his jersey.
