Instead of a first-come, first-served appointment system controlling who gets vaccinated, let’s instead rely upon a distribution system that gets it to the people at polling locations.
Counties have the names and contact details for registered voters, and also the facilities for executing the vaccination process. Instead of going to vote, one just goes for a vaccine during a predetermined period. Counties also know how many people reside in the precincts, so they have a way to forecast the amount of vaccine needed. Even if a precinct has unregistered voters, those folks can still get the shots by showing proof of residency
In November 1968, I was told that if I voted for Hubert Humphrey, a Democrat,we would have inflation, recession, high unemployment, riots in the streets, and that our country would go to hell in a hand-basket.
I voted for Humphrey, and it all came true.
In November 2020, I was told that if I voted for Joe Biden, we would have socialism, communism, higher taxes, and a civil war.
I voted for Joe Biden. So far, so good.
