When events take an unforeseen turn, however, the agents find themselves locked in abandoned jail cells on the premises in the new episode “1mm.” 8PM * To Tell the Truth Anthony Anderson and his sidekick (and mom) Mama Doris return for Season 6 of this reboot of the vintage TV game show in which a celebrity panel begins each round of play by meeting three people, all of whom claim to be the same person with a noteworthy talent, job or achievement. One of them is the genuine article and has sworn to answer any questions truthfully, but the other two are free to use any deceptions they come up with to trick the panel. 9PM ^ PBS American Portrait This four-part docuseries reaches its conclusion with “I Rise,” which takes viewers inside the lives of people struggling to create an anti-racist American future. These individuals are doing the truly hard work, confronting the obstacles and achieving the small victories that, taken together, could add up to significant change in the movement for racial justice. 9:30 PM * mixed-ish If it’s not broken, don’t fix it: That seems to be the creative mantra of this well-written and -acted “blackish” prequel, which somewhat flew under the radar with viewers during its first season, despite critical praise. As we return to 1980s-era America for Season 2, watch for young Rainbow Johnson (Arica Himmel) and her siblings to continue searching for an identity in a world where many others see them as neither black nor white.

Jenny and Cassie (Katheryn Winnick, Kylie Bunbury) decide to officially join forces and track down Ronald (Brian Geraghty) in the new episode “The Wolves Are Always Out for Blood.” Meanwhile, Merrilee (Brooke Smith) struggles with the painful discovery that she didn’t really know her husband, and Helen finds out more about her son’s secret activities.
