Why is the GOP scared of Floridians casting votes?

The excellent reporting by Mary Ellen Klas in her Feb. 17 story, “Republicans vote to add hurdle for mailin voting,” exposes the hypocrisy of the GOP looking to force reapplication and limit drop box participation for vote-by-mail.

There was no evidence of fraud in the most successful participatory voteby-mail election in history in 2020.

After the 2000 election fiasco, then former GOP Gov. Jeb Bush led the reforms that have been so successful in smooth elections.

Is Gov. Ron DeSantis not confident of his outstanding performance and handling of the state that he wants to make it more difficult to vote?

It is time to call Stacey Abrams to get to Florida for 2022.

To the Republican delegation in Miami, I say worry about us here and not so much about a stupid and outdated Cuba policy.

The pandemic, unemployment, crime and gun violence, high property taxes, home insurance rates, are just some of the problems facing Floridians. I don’t hear any of you tackling these pressing problems.
