8PM (MAX) MOVIE Gangs of New York The word “epic” has to be used for director Martin Scorsese’s sprawling 2002 drama of rival mid-19th-century street gangs. Leonardo DiCaprio plays a young man out to avenge his father’s (Liam Neeson) murder by going after the killer, the colorful Bill the Butcher (Daniel Day-Lewis). The hero still finds time for romance with a pickpocket (Cameron Diaz); Jim Broadbent and John C. Reilly co-star.

8 PM (LMN) MOVIE Dangerous Medicine devastated when he’s involved in a near-fatal car accident that robs him of the use of his legs in this new thriller. Happily, a skilled physical therapist named Daphne (Leanne Van Mol) works wonders in her sessions with Tony, eventually helping him to regain his ability to walk. Less happily, however, Daphne turns out to have several psychologi­cal screws loose, leading her to an obsessive desire to possess Tony forever. Meredith Thomas co-stars.

10 PM (SYFY) Wynonna Earp Melanie Scrofano is back in her iconic title role as this quirky, femaledriv­en action-horror-comedysupe­rnatural-Western returns to finish out its fourth and final season. As the action resumes in the new episode “Love’s All Over,” Wynonna battles demons both external and internal, with an assist from the immortal Doc Holliday (Tim Rozon). Meanwhile, Wynonna’s sister Waverly (Dominique Provost-Chalkley), and Nicole Haught (Katherine Barrell), Waverly’s new fiancée, celebrate their engagement with a (literally) enchanted evening.
