Psychologi­st Dr. Robin Zasio and organizer Dorothy Breininger do their best to restore order to Eric’s life, but the presence of at least 10,000 pieces of clothing and piles of unopened online purchases to deal with, that’s definitely an uphill battle.

In a world that is increasing­ly data-driven, filmmaker Shalini Kantayya’s critically acclaimed new documentar­y “Coded Bias” explores the threat to individual civil liberties posed by artificial intelligen­ce. The film follows

MIT Media Lab researcher Joy Buolamwini and other experts from around the world as they fight to expose discrimina­tion inherent in prevalent facial recognitio­n algorithms. Buolamwini was among the first to discover such technology often cannot detect dark-skinned faces with real accuracy. In short, the algorithms are only as unbiased as the humans and historical data programmin­g them.

10 PM * The Good Doctor The medical team is elated when a renowned surgeon comes to St. Bonaventur­e for treatment, but his behavior quickly dampens their enthusiasm in the new episode “Teeny Blue Eyes.” After studying their visitor’s case, however, Shaun (Freddie Highmore)

spots a pattern he recognizes. On a more personal front, Shaun and Lea (Paige Spara) must make a life-changing decision that will alter the course of their life together.

10 PM (FX) Breeders Time has moved on for parents Paul and Ally (Martin Freeman, Daisy Haggard) in this amusing Britcom, and as Season 2 opens with two back-to-back episodes, son Luke (George Wakeman) is about to turn 13 and daughter Ava (Jayda Eyles) is 10. In the season premiere, “No Surrender,” Paul and Ally realize they’ll have to modify their parenting plan to care for their quickly changing offspring.
