Drew Crew warily strike a deal with sketchy Gil Bobbsey (guest star Praneet Akilla) in a new episode called “The Bargain of the Blood Shroud.” Meanwhile, Carson (Scott Wolf) runs into a visibly distraught Bess (Maddison Jaizani). Tunji Kasim, Alex Saxon and Riley Smith also star.

9PM (NGEO) Genius: Aretha In “Chain of Fools,” Aretha (Cynthia Erivo) is desperate to remain relevant as disco reigns as the dominant musical style, so she stoops to stealing an opportunit­y from her sister Carolyn (Rebecca Naomi Jones). At a Grammy Awards ceremony that ends disappoint­ingly for her, Aretha meets an important music label executive, but she and longtime producer Jerry Wexler (David Cross) part ways. Then, in the finale “No One Sleeps,” Aretha overcomes several emotional losses to craft a monumental career comeback.

10 PM (FX) Snowfall Eventually, it’s always time to pay the piper, and Franklin (Damson Idris) finds himself suffering the unpleasant consequenc­es of his dubious choices in the new episode “Say a Little Prayer.”
