Miami has some of the country’s rising culinary stars, and here’s who made this new list
Some of the country’s rising food stars are in Miami — and they are ready to cook for you.
So says the publication StarChefs, which named 20 Miami-area chefs, bakers, artisans and restaurant owners among its 2021 class of Rising Stars.
Diners get to celebrate the honor during Rising Stars Restaurant Week, in which the 20 rising stars will offer the dishes, drinks, baked goods and wine-paired dinners that wowed the StarChefs judges at their individual businesses until March 31.
“There is a major rumble in Miami’s restaurant scene,” StarChefs judges wrote. ”No longer is the attention and demand solely on Miami Beach’s strip; neighborhoods across the bay and even farther out are burgeoning.”
Diners can post their dish or drink to Instagram during Rising Stars Restaurant Week for a chance to win a $100 gift card to that establishment. They simply have to tag StarChefs and use the hashtag #StarChefsRisingStars in a post or a story.
