8PM (HGTV) Outgrown After suffering a death in the family, a mother and her three kids hope to downsize to a new home, but the structure has no room for a handmade dining table that has a great deal of sentimental value in the new episode “Room for the Family Table.” Cohosts Clint Robertson and Luke Caldwell have a plan to update this cozy home, however, and allow this family to do what they love most: hang out together. 8PM (LIFE) MOVIE Dying to Belong An updated remake of

a 1997 TV movie starring Hilary

Swank, Sarah Chalke and MarkPaul Gosselaar, this new version stars Shannen Doherty as the mother of Riley (Jenike Rose), a shy, anxiety-prone college freshman who decides to rush the campus sorority where her mom once excelled. To Riley’s delight, her new best friend Olivia (Favour Onwuka), a journalism student, joins Riley, although Olivia does so to gather information for an exposé on hazing practices. What she finds during her undercover investigation shocks her.

8PM (HBO) MOVIE Voyagers

Neil Burger wrote and directed this 2021 sci-fi film, which some critics compared to a futuristic take on “Lord of the Flies.” Set in the near future, on an Earth devastated by runaway climate change, the movie follows a group of teenage astronauts who are dispatched to colonize a habitable exoplanet. The journey is threatened, though, when the young crew falls into paranoia and social conflict after discovering their personalities and emotions previously were being artificially suppressed. Tye Sheridan, Lily-Rose Depp (Johnny’s daughter), Fionn Whitehead and Colin Farrell star.
