TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS
8PM FBI After a suburban woman is kidnapped from her own home, Maggie (Missy Peregrym) and her FBI teammates investigate the multiple trysts that apparently were taking place on both sides of the victim’s seemingly idyllic marriage in the new episode “Charlotte’s Web.” Elsewhere, OA (Zeeko Zaki) feels pressured by Mona (recurring guest star Yasmine Aker) to make some changes in the career path he has chosen at the Bureau. David T. Patterson and Anni Krueger guest star; Jeremy Sisto, John Boyd and Alana De La Garza also star.
8PM DC’s Stargirl Courtney, Pat (Brec Bassinger, Luke Wilson) and the JSA unite their forces to take down Eclipso (Nick Tarabay) once and for all as the villain unleashes the final part of his master plan in “Summer School: Chapter Thirteen,” the Season 2 finale. Cameron Gellman, Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Amy Smart, Trae Romano and Hunter Sansone also star. Season 3 already has been greenlit by the network.
9PM American Veteran The new episode “The Mission” examines how military life shapes service members in unexpected, often even profound ways. Among the personal stories are those of a young Coast Guard recruit charged with ferrying soldiers to fight — and in many cases, die — on D-Day; a Nevada-based pilot who remotely guided armed bomber drones over Afghanistan; and a young Marine who rose to become the first Latina general. U.S. Sen. Tammy Duckworth hosts this hour.
9PM FBI: International Scott (Luke Kleintank) and his team investigate the fatal poisoning of an American journalist after the victim tried to meet with an anonymous source in Poland in the new episode “The Soul of Chess.” During that mission, Kellett (Heida Reed) gives Scott a piece of her mind over his recurring tendency to be overprotective with her. Magdalena Korpas, Aaron Serotsky and
Toni Belafonte guest star; Carter Redwood, Vinessa Vidotto and Christiane Paul also star.
11:05 PM (HIST) The Curse of Oak Island After last year’s discovery of scientific evidence of huge quantities of silver in the Money Pit area, Rick and Marty Langina, along with their crew, have faced complicated delays from the coronavirus pandemic as well as heightened scrutiny by government bureaucrats in light of multiple archaeologically significant finds that have turned up across the island. Now, however, as Season 9 opens with “Going for the Gold,” the team returns to Oak Island, closer than ever to solving the centuries old mystery.
