4:30 PM (GSN) Tug of Words Ahmad Rashad hosts this new weekday game show from the producers of “Who Wants to Be a Millionair­e,” in which two teams compete to answer word clues correctly and, by doing so, move the flag in the middle of a “tug of war” rope to their side. In round one, each answer involves changing one letter in a word on the board. For example, with “Tug” on the board, the clue might yield the answer “Tag.” The team with the flag on their side after three rounds wins the game.

8PM (TLC) The Family Chantel Pedro decides he is completely fed up with Chantel’s judgment of his family in a new episode called “Risks and Rewards.” Meanwhile,

River finds himself in the hot seat when he gets mercilessl­y interrogat­ed by Megan’s friends. Elsewhere, Alejandro seeks out relationsh­ip advice from his aunt, then pleads for Nicole to give him a second chance.

9PM (HBO) We’re Here In Evansville, Ind., Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’Hara, and Shangela help Craig, a Methodist pastor, promote LGBTQ equality to his uncertain congregant­s. Elsewhere, they try to inspire Tunisian refugee Kais to celebrate all facets of his identity, and facilitate the wedding of civil rights activists Barbara and Yvon.

9 PM (SHO) Wakefield In a new

episode, Kareena (Geraldine

Hakewill) isn’t pleased in the least when her therapist confronts her while visiting someone else at the ward. Meanwhile, Nik (Rudi Dharmaling­am) continues trying to piece together the memories of his terrible trauma. He also struggles with the distressin­g feeling of observing himself from outside his body. Mandy McElhinney and Harry Greenwood also star.

9:01 PM _ The Big Leap With the show down some essential cast members, Wayne (Kevin Daniels) resorts to an old-fashioned lockdown to force everyone back together in the new episode “Big Dumb Lie.” Elsewhere, Justin (Ray Cham), forced to help his father in a time of need, reflects on their turbulent relationsh­ip over the years, while Reggie (Ser’Darius Blain) struggles to navigate his new relationsh­ip with a cocky rookie. Meanwhile, Nick and Monica (Scott Foley, Mallory Jansen) work on their relationsh­ip. Piper Perabo also stars.

10 PM $ NCIS: Hawai’i After a Navy petty officer is murdered, Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) and her team investigat­e the killing while also providing protection to a friend and colleague of the victim in the new episode “Rescuers.” Moses Goods, Mark Gessner, Ashleigh Lathrop and Ashton Holmes guest star; Alex Tarrant, Noah Mills, Yasmine Al-Bustami and Jason Antoon also star.
