8PM (LIFE) A Rose for Her Grave: The Randy Roth Story

Lori (Chrishell Stause) is determined to learn the truth after her best friend Cindy (Laura Ramsey) mysterious­ly drowns. She soon uncovers evidence that widower Randy (Colin Egglesfiel­d) isn’t what he seems. The film is based on the novel by Anne Rule.

8PM (TCM) In the Heat of the Night

African-American Philadelph­ia police detective Virgil Tibbs (Sidney Poitier) is arrested on suspicion of murder by Bill Gillespie (Rod Steiger), the racist police chief of tiny Sparta, Mississipp­i. After Tibbs proves not only his own innocence but that of another man, he joins forces with Gillespie to track down the real killer. Their investigat­ion takes them through every social level of the town, with Tibbs making enemies as well as unlikely friends as he hunts for the truth.

8PM (4) Star Trek Beyond An added treat for “Trek” fans after this week’s premiere of “Star Trek: Picard.” The third film in the rebooted universe finds Kirk (Chris Pine) and the rest of the Enterprise crew battling an alien race while stranded on a hostile planet.

11 PM (17) Austin City Limits Austin alternativ­e rock band Spoon take the ACL stage for an amazing fifth time. It’s like a hometown reunion with band members Britt Daniels, Jim Eno, Gerardo Larios,

Alex Fischel and Ben Trokan. The quintet’s 10th album “Lucifer On the Sofa,” is one of their most acclaimed, and its songs (such as “Held” and “Feels Alright”) form the heart of the new episode “Spoon.”
