West Palm Beach bookie had quite a lifestyle — and you can buy some expensive pieces of it

Two of the six automobile­s that a West Palm Beach bookie gave up in forfeiture when he pleaded guilty to federal tax and money-laundering charges will be up for auction next week. The seven pieces of Florida real estate he gave up might soon follow.

Dion De Cesare pleaded guilty on June 14 to tax evasion; operating an illegal gambling business; conspiracy to commit money laundering; and using a facility of interstate commerce to carry on any unlawful activity. De Cesare has yet to be sentenced, but his guilty plea already includes $1.7 million restitutio­n to the Internal Revenue Service and giving up the assets below.
