After remodeling her home, Zlata Kozul Naumovski decided she wanted to channel her love of interior design by writing about it. She has written about design and her other love, craft beer, for publications like Crain’s Chicago Business and Sophisticated Living.A

South Sider who roots for the Cubs, Zlata enjoys traveling to Europe—especially to Croatia, where she has family—and currently resides in LaGrange with her husband and three kids. As a designer, she’s always looking for ways to incorporate something vintage with the new, and she’s very sensitive to preserving original details in Chicago’s cherished older homes.”

Design inspiration: “One of my favorite designers is Vicente Wolf. His masterful interiors are full of texture and interesting juxtapositions, and they exude calm and sophistication.”
