CHICAGO’S MOST RENOWNED NATURAL HISTORY ART GALLERY MAKES A LANDMARK MOVE.
After 20 years in the landmark Wrigley Building, renowned natural history art gallery Joel Oppenheimer, Inc. has moved to another historic location, the gorgeously restored annex of the Chicago landmark Tree Studios building in River North, one of the nation’s oldest surviving artists’ studios. Says Oppenheimer, “The space is warm, welcoming, and fits our genre of artwork in a unique way. It is an historic landmark site, and we are all about history.” Covering more than 3,200 square feet on three floors, the new space serves as a showcase for Oppenheimer’s extensive collection of artworks depicting the natural world by worldfamous artists such as John James Audubon, Pierre-joseph Redouté, and Basilius Besler. Museum-quality framing and art conservation services, too.
