7 p.m. FAM The Fosters In the summer finale, “Lucky,” Stef and Lena (Teri Polo, Sherri Saum) take a break from their own tensions to host a 40th anniversar­y party for Lena’s parents. Callie (Maia Mitchell) conceals a secret that could be very relevant as she appears before the judge who will decide the consequenc­es of her recent actions. Elsewhere, Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) struggles to fix her relationsh­ip with Mat (Jordan Rodrigues).

7 p.m. FOOD Cake Wars In the season finale, “Girl Scouts,” four virtuoso cake artists compete to have their cake creation at the center of a massive celebratio­n for the Girl Scouts of America. In addition to those bragging rights, there’s also a $10,000 prize, which buys a lot of Girl Scout cookies. Waylynn Lucas and Ron Ben-Israel are the judges; Jonathan Bennett is the host.

7 p.m. HBO Movie: Tashi and the Monk This new documentar­y from filmmakers Andrew Hinton and Johnny Burke chronicles how Lobsang Phunstok, a former Buddhist monk who trained with the Dalai Lama, prevailed over a dark childhood himself and, as an adult, opened The Garden of Love and Compassion, a special school and home for 85 orphaned and neglected children located high in the Himalayas. The film also shows him welcoming his latest arrival: Tashi, age 5, who has been abandoned by her parents.

7 p.m. TRAV 36 Hours Inspired by a popular New York Times travel column, this new six-episode unscripted series finds “Top Chef” winner Kristen Kish and former U.S. soccer pro Kyle Martino visiting a new city each week. Upon their arrival, they have a weekend to find local insiders who can point them to the best restaurant­s, clubs and other attraction­s. In the premiere, the pair explore Berlin to see whether the German capital still merits its reputation as one of the most creative and avant-garde cities in Europe.

8 p.m. LIFE Devious Maids In the new episode “Suspicion,” Marisol (Ana Ortiz) grows increasing­ly suspicious that Taylor (Brianna Brown) is hiding something about the murders, while Ernesto (Cristian de la Fuente) sets a plan into motion that could put Rosie (Dania Ramirez) in jeopardy. Zoila (Judy Reyes) struggles to adjust to a major change in her job, while Adrian’s (Tom Irwin) comes back to haunt him and threaten his family.

8:30 p.m. WVTV Significan­t Mother Is Lydia (Krista Allen) expecting? And if so, who’s the father? These and other questions are addressed by the new episode “Who’s Your Daddy?” If it’s Jimmy (Nathaniel Buzolic), she doesn’t want him to know about the possibilit­y until she can confirm it, so she appeals to Nate (Josh Zuckerman) to keep the secret. Nate does that by avoiding Jimmy, who suspects something’s up as a result. Harrison (Jonathan Silverman) makes it known he wants Lydia back.
