this one.

“As a kid it was always my dream to play in one of those stadiums. Every time I do it is a wow feeling for me.”

UW secondary coach Jim Leonhard is also eager to make the trip.

Leonhard, who grew up in Tony and played 10 seasons in the National Football League, has been inside Lambeau Field just twice.

The Buffalo Bills and Packers held a scrimmage during Leonhard’s rookie season (2005). Then last season he watched the Packers hold off the San Diego Chargers.

“We’ll see the Hall of Fame, see the facilities,” Leonhard said. “It is a great idea to get the kids up there and get the (aura) out of the way so when we go up there in the fall it is game time.

“We’re not going to have big eyes, the mystique of Lambeau. We’ve been there, we’ve done it. We can just go play the game.”

Tailback Corey Clement, from Glassboro, N.J., doesn’t cheer for the Packers and doesn’t own any green and gold attire.

“I don’t want the Wisconsin fans to hate me, but I’m not a Packers fan because I’m not from the Midwest,” Clement said, grinning. “They have to understand that.”

And despite growing up about 25 miles from Philadelphia, Clement isn’t a fan of the Eagles, either.

“I’m a Cowboys fan,” he said. “It is cool. I’ll be a true fan until hopefully we win another Super

Bowl.”

Clement encountered some resistance on social media when the Packers defeated the Cowboys, 26-21, in a 2015 NFC divisional playoff game at Lambeau Field.

Clement openly cheered for Dallas and expressed his frustration when the replay official overturned a long pass play to Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant with the Packers holding a 26-21 lead.

“I caught hell on Twitter,” he said. “They robbed Dez Bryant.”

One UW fan declared on Twitter he planned to stop following Clement.

“Whatever,” Clement said, laughing. “I don’t care. Do what you’ve got to do. But it was fun. Followers come and go.”

Knowing that UW opens the 2016 season against LSU at Lambeau Field, Clement is eager to see the facilities.

“It is going to be a great time up there,” he said. “I’ve never seen Lambeau but it is such a prestigious and historical stadium that you want to set foot on.

“All the greats played on it. . . . it will be a great moment to take it in with your teammates and just look forward to LSU.”
