Most of Milwaukee’s movie theaters are bringing back holiday chestnuts in December. Here’s a look at Christmas movies coming to town this month.
The Avalon Theater, 2473 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., and the Times Cinema, 5906 W. Vliet St., are showing weekend matinees of Christmas classics starting Saturday. General admission is $5. Avalon Theater Saturday: 10:30 a.m., “A Christmas Story” (1983)

Marcus’ Majestic, Menomonee Falls, Ridge and South Shore cinemas are showing some Christmas favorites at noon on Sundays and 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays starting this Sunday. Tickets are $5. Here’s the lineup.
