The fast-food chain Chick-fil-A is set to open a new restaurant in West Allis next Thursday.

The new Chick-fil-A, the seventh stand-alone restaurant in Wisconsin by the company since it debuted its Brookfield site with recordsetting grand opening sales in 2014, will open on Thursday at 6 a.m. at S. 108th St. and W. Cleveland Ave.

The franchise owner for the West Allis location is David Schiedt, The new Chick-fil-A is expected to create 85 jobs.

At each new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A offers a year’s worth of chicken sandwich meals to the first 100 people in line as part of its First 100 promotion.

That usually generates overnight lines and camping by Chick-fil-A fans the day before the opening.

According to the company, the line for the promotion at the new location opens at 6 a.m. Wednesday.

If there are more than 100 people in line at that time, a raffle will be held to determine the 100 who will stay on site for the next 24 hours.

If there are fewer than 100 people, Chick-fil-A said, it will continue to register participants until it reaches 100.

The community promotion is open to people living in specific ZIP codes surrounding the restaurant.

Prizes will be awarded about 6 a.m. Thursday, the company said.

On Tuesday, to celebrate the imminent opening of the West Allis restaurant, all six other stand-alone Chick-fil-A locations in Wisconsin will offer visitors a free three-count Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Mini between 6:30 and 10:30 a.m., the company said. There is no required purchase, and the giveaway is limited to one per guest.
