An employer on the city’s far northwest side is looking to hire nearly 200 workers in the near future, several Common Council members announced Monday.

Starting salaries for the new jobs at Concentrix, a business solutions company, range from $27,000 to $36,000 per year.

“These jobs are solid and located in a great location, and I strongly encourage interested applicants to apply online as soon as possible,” said Ald. Jim Bohl, whose district includes the company.

Those interested in applying to work at Concentrix, which is located at 11301 W. Lake Park Drive, can apply at concentrix.com.

Representatives from Concentrix are expected to participate in a career fair scheduled for Jan. 7 at Northtown Church, 7000 N. 107th St.

The company will also hold hiring classes.

“The positions will require individuals to provide product support and information, as well as some trouble-shooting and research,” Ald. Chantia Lewis said in a statement. “If you have experience and enjoy working with customers and the public, then Concentrix may be the right fit for you.”

A job notice from the company said it offers paid training, benefits after three months, vacation time in the first year, and advancement opportunities.

“Job opportunities involving cool technology and providing trouble-shooting advice and service have often been concentrated downtown or in other locations closer to the city’s core,” Ald. Cavalier Johnson said. “Concentrix is offering those opportunities in close proximity to my constituents and to an overall large workforce base on the northwest side.”
