Cincinnati tips Marshall in overtime
Troy Caupain rebounded his missed shot and made a short jumper with 0.7 seconds left in overtime on Thursday night, rallying No. 23 Cincinnati to a 93-91 victory over visiting Marshall.
The Bearcats (10-2) trailed by as many as 15 points in regulation and held the lead only briefly, 75-74, on Tre Scott’s free throw with 2 minutes 49 seconds left.
A three-pointer by Jacob Evans III off a Marshall turnover tied it at 80 and sent it to overtime.
Gary Clark led Cincinnati with 26 points and 10 rebounds.
Stevie Browning scored 28 points for Marshall (7-5).
BIG EAST
Georgetown 78, UNC Greensboro 56: Jessie Govan had 20 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four blocks to lead the host Hoyas (8-4) past the Bulldogs (9-4).

(16) Indiana 97, Austin Peay 62: James Blackmon Jr. scored 24 points and Robert Johnson added 20 as the Hoosiers (10-2) drubbed the Governors (4-9) to extend their home winning streak to 26 games.
Michigan 68, Furman 62: Moritz Wagner scored 13 of his 18 points in the first half and the Wolverines (10-3) held off the visiting Paladins (7-6).
The Wolverines gave coach John Beilein his 750th victory, 492 as a Division I coach, with their third straight win.
HORIZON LEAGUE
UW-Green Bay 108, St. Mary’s (Minn.) 59: Jamar Hurdle had 21 points and the host Phoenix (6-6) trounced the Division III Cardinals (4-4).
Belmont 88, Cleveland State 61: Evan Bradds scored 19 points with seven rebounds as the Bruins (6-4) rolled to a lopsided victory over the Vikings (4-8) in Nashville, Tenn.
