BEL CANTO CHORUS. Singers are needed for the second half of the 2016-’17 season. “Try It, You’ll Like It” rehearsals will be held on Jan. 11 and 18, with auditions scheduled for Jan. 21. Concerts will include Felix Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” in March and works by Kile Smith and Eriks Esenvalds in May. Previous choral experience and the ability to sight read are recommended. LAKE COUNTRY PLAYERS. Variety of men and women ages 20s to 60s are needed for musical “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.” Auditions will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 8 at Lake Country Playhouse, 221 Capitol Drive, Hartland; and from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 9 at First Congregational Church, 111 Church St., Hartland. Prepare one musical theater song of 16 to 32 bars and bring sheet music for accompanist. Actors may prepare a 90-second comedic monologue, but that is optional. Bring a current head shot and résumé. OFF THE WALL THEATRE. One man and one woman ages 15 to 25 needed for roles of Matt and Louisa in the May-June production of “The Fantasticks.” Both must be able to sing well.
