Vino Cappuccino Tiramisu

Makes about 8 servings

2 1⁄2 egg yolks from pasteurize­d eggs 1⁄2 cup sugar 1⁄2 cup mascarpone cheese 2 tablespoon­s Marsala 2 cups heavy whipping cream

2 1⁄2 to 3 cups espresso or very strong regular coffee

2 tablespoon­s amaretto 2 tablespoon­s brandy

24 whole ladyfinger­s (small size, use the crispy variety)

Chocolate syrup to drizzle Unsweetene­d cocoa powder for garnish In large bowl, beat egg yolks with sugar until very light and fluffy, about 3 to 5 minutes. Add mascarpone and mix 1 minute. Add Marsala and mix in by hand.

In a separate bowl, whip cream and then fold it into mascarpone mixture. In another bowl, mix the espresso with the amaretto and brandy. Set out 8 martini glasses.

Decorative­ly drizzle the chocolate syrup down the sides of each glass. Place a heaping tablespoon of the cream mixture in the bottom of each glass. Break one ladyfinger in half and dip both halves into the coffee just until they are moist and soft. They should not be soggy. Set over cream mixture in glass.

Top with two heaping tablespoon­s of the cream.

Break two ladyfinger­s in half and dip them in the coffee mixture and set over the cream in the glass. Top with another 2 tablespoon­s of the cream.

Dust top of dessert with cocoa powder.
