IshDARR, WebsterX to play Turner Hall shows

-

IshDARR and WebsterX, two leading stars in Milwaukee’s hiphop scene, are playing their biggest headlining shows in the city to date at Turner Hall Ballroom this spring. The 20-year-old IshDARR (left) plays there first on April 12 for his first major local show since releasing his album “Broken Hearts & Bankrolls” last fall. The 12 tracks from the project have been collectively streamed more than 2.3 million times on SoundCloud alone. WebsterX (below) helped trigger a surge of national awareness for Milwaukee hip-hop with the music video to his breakout single, “Doomsday,” in early 2015. He headlines Turner on May 26, to celebrate the release of his debut full-length album, “Daymares,” out this Friday. He’s bringing along a diverse roster of seven Milwaukee rappers to open, from scene veteran Klassik to newcomer Taj Raiden. Tickets for IshDARR’s 8 p.m. show are $15 in advance, $20 day of show, and are available beginning at noon Friday at the Pabst Theater box office (144 E. Wells St.), the Riverside Theater box office (116 W. Wisconsin Ave.), by calling (414) 286-3663 or visiting pabsttheater.org.

Tickets for WebsterX’s 8 p.m. show are $14.50, also available beginning at noon Friday.
