Basketball forfeits: Milwaukee North’s boys basketball team forfeited five victories it had in February due to the use of an ineligible player. The Blue Devils, who had to forfeit their tournament victory over Shorewood, also forfeited victories over Marshall, Pulaski, Bradley Tech, Young Coggs Prep and South. The team’s adjusted record is 11-12 overall and 3-9 in the conference.

Wisconsin Scorers and Timers: The Wisconsin Scorers and Timers Associatio­n announced its executive board for the 2017-’18 school year: president – Mike Wenzel; vice president – Scott Lichucki; secretary – Dan Wildt; treasurer – Fred Bau; director of profession­al standards – Kevin Fischer; liaison officer: Mike Milbrath.

Offensive skills camp: Forrest Larson will conduct an Advanced Offensive Skills Camp at Sussex Hamilton May 5 and 6. The camp is open to boys in the fourth-11th grades. Butler breaks record: Racine Prairie junior JC Butler became the school’s all-time leading scorer during the team’s tournament run to the sectional semifinal. The 6-foot-5 guard scored 41 points in the team’s 80-62 victory over Young Coggs Prep in the regional final to pass 1980 graduate Jeff Smith (1,329) as the school’s all-time scoring leader. Butler added 38 points in a 92-74 loss to Destiny in the sectional semifinal to raise his career total to 1,399 points.

1,000-point club: Wauwatosa West’s Alou Dillon scored his 1,000th point in 70-66 loss to Wauwatosa East in the regional semifinal March 3. Dillon, a South Dakota State recruit, finished with 1,001 points.

Coaching changes: Tim Richert, who led Young Coggs Prep, to the Division 5 state title in 2015, resigned after five seasons. He went 90-33 at the school. … Milwaukee North coach Billy Harris resigned after six seasons. He went 59-84.

Committed: Marquette senior Charlie Klein will play at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, a Division III program in Terre Haute, Ind. AROUND THE STATE

Gatorade honor: La Crosse Central’s Kobe King and Madison Edgewood’s Estella Moschkau were named the state’s boys and girls players of the year by Gatorade. King, a 6-4 guard who will play at Wisconsin, averaged 27 points and about nine rebounds per game for the Division 2 state champion. Moschkau is a 6-2 senior guard/forward who will play at Stanford. She averaged 18.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists for the Division 2 state champion.
