DNCE, Alessia Cara to be at Oasis
Fest announces stage headliners
Pop hitmakers DNCE with Joe Jonas, Alessia Cara and Walk the Moon are among the first headliners to play Summerfest’s revamped Miller Lite Oasis stage, the festival announced Monday.
Other acts headlining the Big Gig’s largest ground stage include electronic artists Flume and Steve Aoki; soulful country artist Brett Eldredge; veteran sister pop rock act Tegan & Sara; and Milwaukee’s own alternative rock band Vinyl Theatre.
The Miller Lite Oasis stage is undergoing an overhaul for Summerfest’s 50th edition, the stage’s first renovations since 2006. The improvements including a fresh facade; improved sight lines; video screen upgrades; a new side stage bar dubbed the Miller Lite Brew House; and special seats on the stage itself, available to festgoers through MillerCoors promotions.
Summerfest officials are expected to announce daily stage headliner lineups through next week. Last week, 140 grounds stage headliners were revealed. All but one of the shows at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater, formerly known as the Marcus Amphitheater, have been announced.
General admission tickets are $13 for weekdays before 4 p.m. and $20 for weeknights and weekends, available at the gate during Summerfest, and in advance at summerfest.com. Three-day passes for $48 and 11-day passes for $90 are available on Summerfest’s website.
General admission tickets do not include access to the amphitheater shows, but amphitheater ticketholders will have access to the Summerfest grounds on the dates of applicable shows.
