The Milwaukee Art Museum’s MAM After Dark goes all India on Friday from 7 to 11 p.m., with Aarabhi Indian Dance Company providing Bollywood-style performanc­es, music by DJ Ravi, performanc­e and artwork by singing bowl artist Akhilanka and more. The Sierra Club’s Great Waters Group and the Urban Ecology Center are holding an Earth Day of Service and Celebratio­n

on Saturday in Washington Park, 1859 N. 40th St. In addition to helping clean up the park and plant native flowers, the program includes a series of demonstrat­ions starting at 10 a.m.; free bike repair; and a free lunch at noon, with music by the Young Scientists. Speaking of Earth Day,

Rock the Green’s sixth annual Earth Day Celebratio­n is from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Picnic Area 8 in Estabrook Park, 4400 N. Estabrook Drive. In addition to a spring river cleanup hosted by Milwaukee Riverkeepe­r, the celebratio­n includes ecological education programs and a performanc­e by Trapper Schoepp on a pedal-powered stage provided by cycling clubs. Local and sustainabl­e food vendors will be on hand, too.
