A New Berlin company that makes business exhibits plans to move to a new, larger facility that would be developed in Muskego.

CGS Premier would relocate from 5786 S. Westridge Drive, in the Westridge Business Park, to a 65,000square-foot building.

The $7 million Muskego facility would be developed on an 8.85-acre lot at the east end of Commerce Center Parkway, in the Commerce Center East development off Moorland Road.

The plans also call for a future 20,000-square-foot addition.

A proposal by HSI Properties LLC to develop that building, which would be leased to CGS Premier, is to be reviewed at Tuesday night’s Muskego Plan Commission meeting.

CGS Premier is a customer fabricating and digital printing company that specializes in mobile business exhibits and displays that are built into vehicles.

Its customers include MillerCoors LLC, AT&T, Microsoft, PNC Bank and Geico. The company’s products have appeared at such events as the Super Bowl and the Indianapolis 500.

CGS Premier has 47 fulltime employees, as well as 10 to 15 temp employees during its peak construction season, according to the proposal filed with city officials.

The company has outgrown its 37,000-squarefoot New Berlin building, said Greg Peterson, president. He hopes to hire 15 to 20 additional full-time employees over the next two to three years.

Part of that growth is being generated by CGS Premier’s entry into the health care industry, Peterson said. The company is building mobile wellness clinics for clients such as Cigna Insurance and Walgreens, he said.

Construction of the Muskego facility would begin in June, pending city approvals.

CGS Premier hopes to move to the new building in December, Peterson said.
