Vetta made chairman at First Business Bank

Dave Vetta has been promoted to chairman of the board of First Business Bank-Milwaukee, and Mike Flynn has joined the bank as president.

Vetta, who also is chief executive of the bank and previously held the title of president, succeeds John Silseth, who will transition to lead director and remain on the the holding company’s board.

Flynn, with 30 years of experience in business or banking, most recently was a director of PayNet Inc., a Skokie, Ill.-based data analytics company for the banking industry.

“We’re really excited about this market and having Mike joining us with his background, really complement­ing the team very nicely,” Vetta said in an interview. “We continue to look for business developmen­t officers and growing in this marketplac­e through our

various lines of business.”

In other moves at First Business Bank-Milwaukee:

Dennis Sampson was promoted to executive vice president. He will lead the Milwaukee commercial lending team, chair the Milwaukee loan approval committee, oversee credit quality and recruit new talent.

Bob Bell was promoted to senior vice president. He will head the Milwaukee commercial real estate and private wealth management teams.

Kim Preston was promoted to vice president II of treasury management. She will lead the Milwaukee treasury management team, client services team, and compliance and risk management efforts.
