OK, so you’ve got the brunch thing figured out. What else is there to do with mom on Mother’s Day?

Mothers get free admission Sunday at the Milwaukee County Zoo, 10001 W. Blue Mound Road. The zoo is open on Mother’s Day from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; admission for non-moms is $14.25; $13.25 for seniors 60 and older; $11.25 for kids ages 3 to 12; and free for children 2 and younger. (Milwaukee County residents with ID get $1.75 off regular admission.) Parking is $12. Info: milwaukeez­oo.org

Boerner Botanical Gardens, 9400 Boerner Drive, Hales Corners, hosts a free family Mother’s Day event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Kids can plant flowers and make daffodil crafts as gifts for their mothers (and grandmothe­rs). Regular admission to the gardens is $5.50; $4.50 for students (with ID), Milwaukee County seniors (with ID) and people with disabiliti­es; and $3.50 for kids ages 6 to 17. Can’t decide which museum to take Mom to? On

Milwaukee Museum Mile Day, you don’t have to. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, there’s free admission at four East Side museums — Jewish Museum Milwaukee, 1360 N. Prospect Ave.; Charles Allis Art Museum, 1801 N. Prospect Ave.; Museum of Wisconsin Art at St. John’s on the Lake, 1800 N. Prospect Ave.; and Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum, 2220 N.
