Police seek suspects in fires on south side
Milwaukee police are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects in several fires set in the early hours of Friday on the south side.
Police released surveillance photos of the suspects who are wanted in connection with these incidents:
Shortly before 3 a.m. in the 2800 block of W. Hayes Ave., where two garbage cans were set on fire.
Shortly before 3 a.m. in the 3000 block of W. Hayes Ave., where a garbage can was lit on fire, which spread to a garage.
Shortly before 3 a.m. in the 2400 block of S. 29th St., where two garbage cans and a fence were set on fire.
Shortly before 3:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of S. 20th St., where a garbage can was lit on fire, which spread to two garages.
Shortly before 4 a.m. in the 1900 block of S. 28th St., where a garbage cart was lit on fire and where the suspects are believed to have attempted unsuccessfully to set fire to a garage.
Shortly before 4 a.m. in the 1000 block of W. Lapham Blvd., where a garbage cart was lit on fire, which spread to a building.
About 4 a.m. in the 1400 block of S. 11th St., where a garbage cart was lit on fire.
Shortly before 5 a.m. in the 1800 block of S. 25th St., where a garbage can was lit on fire.
