Ninth Annual South Milwaukee Historical Society Garden Tour. Tour eight South Milwaukee gardens and Milwaukee County’s Grant Park Wulff Lodge garden. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 24. Handcrafte­d garden items by local artisans will be on sale at the South Milwaukee Historical Society Museum (717 Milwaukee Ave.) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a demonstrat­ion by Casey Lynn Lawrence on “How to Create and Maintain a Unique Planter” at 9 a.m., with the planter raffled afterward. The first 50 people to purchase tickets the day of the tour at the Historical Society will receive a gift. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 day of the tour. Advance tickets are $8 at some area businesses. Day-of-tour tickets are $10 at the Shady Lane Nursery, W172-N7388 Shady Lane, Menomonee Falls, and the gardens. There will also be raffles and exhibitors.

Southeast Wisconsin Master Gardener Very Special Garden Tour: Tour gardens at the Maryland Avenue Montessori School, 2418 N. Greenfield Beautifica­tion Committee: A Day at Radler’s Botanic Garden and Rosarium: Self-guided tour of Will Radler’s garden. He is the breeder of the world famous Knock Out roses and has opened his two-acre rosarium. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 15. Admission is $8 per person or $15 for two people. Garden Conservanc­y’s 2017 Open days Program: Tour Afterglow Farm in Port Washington from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 16. Entrance to Afterglow Farm will be allowed by preregistr­ation only. In the Door County area from Sturgeon Bay north to Ephraim. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 25. There will also be a pop-up store featuring works by local artisans, and artists will be painting in some of the gardens. Advance tickets are $30; they cost $35 the day of the event. 5th Annual East Side Milwaukee Garden Tour: A free self-guided walking tour of more than 20 gardens in the area bordered by North Ave., Lake Michigan, Edgewood Ave. and the Milwaukee River. Aquatica’s 17th Annual Water Garden Tour: Tour about 10 water gardens in Southeaste­rn Wisconsin by motor coach. Sites are done by award-winning master builders. Tour lasts about five hours. Beverages, snacks and dinner provided. Noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 5. Meet at Aquatica Retail Pond Shoppe, 227 James St., Wales. Tickets are $45, or $40 if you bring an item the day of the tour that is listed on the “Wildlife in Need Center’s wish list.” Proceeds donated to the center.
