Stout’s Island Lodge is only open to overnight guests and visitors for lunch and dinner.

The island has all the modern amenities you need — private bathrooms, a full-service restaurant, golf carts for transporting luggage and visitors who need assistance — without the ones you don’t really need — television and Wi-Fi.

Rates range from $179 to $399; two-night stays are required on weekends. Rates include ferry service to and from the island and a continental breakfast. Some cabins feature multiple rooms that can be rented together by larger groups.

The island is open to guests May through October.
